China - U.S. JCCT Cooperative Program Enhances Bilateral Healthcare Cooperation

China-U.S. JCCT healthcare cooperation conference with a theme of “achieving a successful health and healthcare ecosystem” was held in Guangzhou on November 22. Vice-Premier Wang Yang, US Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and Trade Representative Michael Froman addressed the conference. The open meeting was hosted by Vice Minister of China Food and Drug Administration Wu Zhen.
 

During the first session, moderated by Vice President of CCCMHPIE Xu Ming, delegates from both sides discussed how to facilitate China-US dialogue for better health and healthcare.
 

In the case study session, executive managers from both China and U.S. healthcare and pharmaceutical industries shared experience to show how greater China-U.S. cooperation can achieve successful healthcare ecosystems.
 

The China-US Joint Commission on Commerce is one of the earliest established high-level dialogues between the governments of the two countries in trade and economic field, which played a significant role in expanding the bilateral win-win cooperation and promoting the sound and stable development of the trade and economic partnership between China and the United States.
