On June 20, the 17th CPhI China, 12th P-MEC & InnoPack China, 5th ICSE China and NEX 2017 is staged in Shanghai New Int'l Expo Centre (SNIEC). The exhibition is organized by UBM EMEA and China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products (CCCMHPIE), and co-organized by UBM Sinoexpo.
Mr. Zhou Hui, President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicines & Health Products, and Mr. Chris Kilbee, Portfolio Director Pharma of UBM EMEA, delivered opening speeches on behalf the exhibition organizers. Mr. Zhou Hui expressed that as one of the most promising industries, the pharmaceutical industry enjoys a rapid development pace. Nowadays, the global pharmaceutical industry is under deep reform with its supply chains and value chains remodeling. CPhI China has already been the must-attend annual event for all supply chains of the pharmaceutical industry.
Chris Kilbee introduced the highlights for 2017 CPhI China, firstly this year’s show extended the event’s size, creating space for our 2800 exhibitors to target attendees from more than 120 countries. Secondly, introducing 2 major additions to the show this week. Similarly to CPhI Worldwide,FDF will help maximise the potential of the rapidly growing Finished Dosage Formulations market in China,and is forecast to be one of the fastest growing parts of the event over the next few years. China Pharma Weekrunning for five days, with six themes and 15 separate meetings, highlights include yesterday’s ‘8th China-World CEO Summit’, ‘the 2017 Awards for Top 100 Internationalized Companies’, the ‘CPhI & ICSE China Innovation and Development Forum’, and the‘2017 CPhI & P-MEC Green Pharma Summit’. We also have a number of additional networking events including Women’s Leadership Forum. CPhI and PMEC China has become THE place to network, to learn and to do business in the China Pharmaceutical industry and we are confident that this year’s developments and the launch of China Pharma Week will provide more value than ever before for our exhibitors and visitors from China and from all over the world.

The exhibition covers a total of 170,000 square meters. Over 2,800 pharmaceutical enterprises and over 50,000 professional pharma buyers from over 120 countries and regions attended the exhibition. The scale and influence of CPhI China has reached a new level in 2017.
