HNC 2019 Opened Successfully in Shanghai


HNC2019 jointly organized by CCCMHPIE and Sinoexpo Informa Markets pened successfully on the morning of 19 June, 2019 in Hall 3 of National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai).


After ten years of development, HNC has become a one-stop sourcing platform for the Big Health industry in Asia with great scale and international brand influence. The exhibits range from health food, TCM dietary supplements, beauty products, health products, and nutraceutical products to third-party services.


Mr. Zhou Hui, President of CCCMHPIE, Mr. Zhou Hai-Jun, General Manager of China National Packaging and Food Machinery Corporation, Mrs. Margaret Ma Connolly, CEO of Informa Markets Asia delivered opening speeches.


Mr. Zhou Hui, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony. He said that in the process from settling food and clothing problems to healthy consumption, people have now developed a common idea of “health first”, which then has spawned a large consumption market of nutraceutical and health products and created a broad space for the development of nutraceutical and health industries, with market size reaching more than 460 billion yuan. He added that this year witnessed the first time that HNC was held in National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) and the tenth session of HNC. HNC reached a new high this year, attracting exhibitors from over 20 developed countries and regions worldwide, taking up over 40% of the total exhibitors. He also stated that this year is the 30th Anniversary of CCCMHPIE. With the support of the leaders of the Ministry of Commerce and member companies, by adhering to the “service-first and honesty-based” principles and the concept of “serving the industry chain and fueling the international development”, CCCMPHIE maintains steady development and growth and has made great achievements.

This year, nearly 600 domestic and foreign high-quality enterprises came to National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) to attend the HNC2019. The size of the Australian and New Zealand exhibitors has tripled and doubled respectively, and the pavilion for Taiwanese exhibitors has expanded. In addition, it was the first time for many countries to delegate at least one exhibitor to HNC this year, such as Norway, Germany, Czech Republic, Belgium, Thailand, Greece, Italy, India, Singapore, and Malaysia. HNC serves and benefits the people at a closer distance via “bringing in”, and invites domestic nutraceutical and health product giants and TCM dietary supplement leading companies as well, showing the big pattern of Chinese-foreign cooperation, openness and mutual benefit. HNC2019 also set up a “Chinese Boutique District” with the purpose to promote the going global of traditional Chinese cultures to benefit people worldwide. The “Chinese Boutique District” serves as an international platform to attract more and more international visitors to focus on Chinese treasures.
