The 3rd China-ASEAN Drug Cooperation and Development Summit Forum held in Nanning

On September 18-19, 2015, the 3rd China-ASEAN Drug Cooperation and Development Summit Forum was held in Nanning, China. The forum is jointly sponsored by China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Wu Zhen, Vice Minister of CFDA, attended the forum and delivered a speech.
The theme of the forum is “Win-win Cooperation: Creating a New Pattern for Drug Cooperation & Development of China and ASEAN”. During the forum, delegates shared the latest information on drug supervision of their own country, gave presentations and made discussions on the reform of drug evaluation and approval system, generic drugs, and industrial cooperation and development.
About 400 delegates attended the forum, including representatives from the ASEAN countries, the World Health Organization, U.S. Food and Drug Administration China Office, E.U. and other international organizations, representatives from related departments and affiliated organizations of CFDA, provincial Food and Drug Administrations, as well as drug manufacturing enterprises.
