The total import and export value of Chinese FPPs was $15.72 billion, up 15.6 percent year on year. The exports value was $2.9 billion, with a growth of 8.4 percent year on year, while the import value $12.8 billion, up 15.6 percent year on year.
In 2014, 64 kinds of FPPs exported to 169 Countries and Regions; Penicillin, cephalosporin, vitamin and other anti-infective drugs were still main export products, contributed 27%; Australia, Africa, European Union, ASEAN were main export markets.
More than 50 companies passed GMP certificates of Europe, America and Japan; 7 companies passed WHO GMP certificates; 50 FPPs got ANDA approval document of the United States.
