Seminar on Sino-India Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Sector Held in Beijing

On March 15, a seminar on Sino-India Cooperation in the Pharmaceutical Sector was held jointly by CCCHMPIE and the Indian Embassy in China.
The Chamber President Ni Rulin and Vice President Meng Dongping attended the meeting and delivered speech. Deputy Secretary-General Tan Shengcai was invited to make a speech on “Opportunities in China's Pharmaceutical Market and Prospects for Sino-Indian Cooperation in Pharmaceutical Trade." During the seminar, discussions on exchange and cooperation in pharmaceutical production between the two countries were undertaken. Attendants to the seminar included India's ambassador to China Dr. S. Jaishankar; FICCI Secretary General Dr. Amit Mitra; President N.R. Munjal and Secertary General Padalia of the Indian Drug Manufacturers Association and about 40 leading pharmaceutical companies from both China and India.
