According to the customs data, the whole value of China’s medical foreign trade was 75.8 billion USD in the first three quarters of the year, down 5.2 percent year on year. The export value was 42.2 billion USD, with a growth of 4.3 percent while the import value 33.6 billion USD, up 4.8 percent year on year.
The data shows that China’s medical foreign trade still maintains its growth, while slowdown is irreversible. The main reasons include weak global demand, fierce price competition and the rising cost.
