¡¡From Nov. 17th to 18th , Healthcare Supply Chain Officer Summit 2011, hosted by Global SCM and cosponsored by CCCMHPIE, was held in Shanghai. Vice chairwoman Meng Dongping of  CCCMHPIE attended the meeting and delivered the speech titled “ The Status Quo and Direction Selection of China’s Medical Industry”.
¡¡¡¡In her 30 minutes’ speech, Mrs. Meng first breifed the current development of China’s medical industry and pharmaceutical circulation, and then through comparative study of pharmaceutical circulation at home and abroad, pointed out both the achievements and problems of China’s pharmaceutical circulation development in three aspects, such as the status quo, circulation patterns, and competitive strength. She also indicated the path and direction of China’s pharmaceutical circulation system construction, after interpreting the policies, analyzing statistics and anatomizing cases of enterprises’ efforts in pharmaceutical circulation.
¡¡¡¡Mrs. Meng emphasized that, with the rapid development of global medical industry, China now ranks the third in the international medical field. The future competition of pharmaceutical enterprises not only lie in technical research and high-quality products, but also in constructing an effective and convenient distribution system, which is the key to winning a competitive advantage.
¡¡¡¡During the meeting, Mrs. Meng also exchanged ideas with participating representatives and answered questions about the development of China’s pharmaceutical circulation industry, industrial policies and the degree of industrial concentration. A total of more 100 executives from major domestic pharmaceutical enterprises and multinational pharmaceutical groups, such as Sinopharm, Beijing Pharmaceutical Co., LTD, Merck, Sorin Group, Piramal Health, were present at the meeting.
