From February 13th to 22nd, CCCMHPIE President Ni Rulin led a trade and investment delegation to the United States and successfully completed all the official activities. The visit organized by China’s Ministry of Commerce is part of the business activities of Vice President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States. Zhang Benzhi, chairman of China's Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Group, Chen Zhangsheng , chairman of ZheJiang Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Group, Bai Hua, chairman of HaiZheng Pharmaceutical Group, Yu Qingming, general manager of China Scientific Equipment Company, JiYong, general manager of Northeast Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. , Zhang Lihua, CEO of LanYun Pharmaceutical Group, Shi Baoshe, chairman of ChengDu ShengFeng Medical Devices Co., Ltd. are among the list of the delegation members which consists of 29 delegates from 14 enterprises.
    During its stay in the United States, the delegation paid visits to several counterparts and pharmaceutical companies, including the U.S. Pharmaceutical Industry Association, the U.S. Advanced Medical Technology Association, the U.S. Amgen. CCCMHPIE and the U.S. Advanced Medical Technology Association signed a memorandum of cooperation on normalizing the exchange and cooperation, supporting enterprises from both sides and sharing information.
    At Washington stop, the group organized the Sino-US Pharmaceutical Companies Business Meeting. Executives from Cardinal Health Group were invited to introdece U.S. drug distribution channels, cooperate procurement strategy, U.S. market development.
    In Los Angeles, the delegation was cordially received by Vice President Xi Jinping and posed for pictures, which encouraged the group a lot. Besides, the group also participated in the Sino-US Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and made extensive and in-depth exchanges with U.S. entrepreneurs on promoting Sino-US trade and investment.
