On March 1st, China-Iran Botanicals Enterprise Symposium was successfully held in Beijing. Iran Botanicals Business Delegation headed by Vice Chairman of Iran Council for Promotion of International Trade, accompanied by staff form Iranian embassy visited the CCCMHPIE. More than 70 delegates from 40 Chinese and Iranian enterprises attended the negotiation carried out during the visit.
    The Symposium started with a welcome speech delivered by Liuzhang Lin, vice president of CCCMHPIE. Then the Iranian delegation briefed the status of Iranian herbal medicine market, saffron planting and processing. The next part of the meeting, a free discussion was carried out in a warm atmosphere. The forum enhanced bilateral understanding, deepened the mutual knowledge of both markets and set up a platform for future cooperation.
