On February16th,the China International Health Products Exhibition/promotion and the Sino-Indonesia enterprises docking activities organized by CCCMHPIE, was successfully held in Jakarta. The activities got strong support from the Economic Counselor’s office of Chinese Embassy in Indonesia. The public parameters of Commerce, Zhouhui, Executive Chairman of the Indonesian Pharmaceutical Industries Associations Dr. Dorojatun delivered speeches , expressingtheir best wishes to promote bilateral medical trade and cooperation. Local industry organizations, Indonesian Herbal Medicine Associations, Chinese Medicines Association in Indonesia, Chinese General Chamber of Commerce of Indonesia attended the event. The event attracted a number of influential people in Indonesia, and delegates from 40 Indonesian companies.
    Vice president Meng Dongping delivered a keynote speech, briefing the status of Chinese medicine and health products industry, China and Indonesia pharmaceutical trade, and detailed descriptions of the China International Health Product Exhibition, The speech received a positive feedback from all delegates. The accompanying 13 delegations were from Chinese Medicine©}Health Products Company, SINOPHARM, Tasly, Northeast Pharmaceutical Group, Tong Ren Tang, and etc. Through the face-to-face communication, both sides enhanced mutual understanding, and explored cooperation potential.
    On February 17th, the delegation visited the Indonesian Food and Drug Administration, and talked with Dr. Hary, the Director of Council of Traditional Medicine and Cosmetics Standards Division and other relevant officials in charge. Madam Meng communicated with Dr.Hary about registration regulations and regulatory policies of pharmaceutical and health care products, Chinese-Indonesian pharmaceutical trade issues which were great concerns of Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises.
    After the meeting, Madam Meng talked with Mr. Johanys, Chairman of Indonesian Pharmaceutical Industry Association, Mr.Charles, Chairman of Indonesian Herbal Medicine Association, and delegates from Indonesia's leading pharmaceutical companies.
