China International Healthplex Expo 2012 was held on March 22nd to 24th in Shanghai International Exhibition Centre. Jointly organized by China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Medicine & Health Products (CCCMHPIE), Trade Development Bureau of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Shanghai International Trade Promotion Co., Ltd., Healthplex Expo 2012 was an industry event consisting of the display of high-quality health products of both China and overseas, interaction between domestic and foreign companies, spreading of the traditional and the modern concept of health.
The exhibition brought together more than 130 exhibitors from China, the United States, Britain, Germany, Russia, Japan, Korea and other countries and regions. The attendance of overseas exhibitors, accounting for 40% of all, made the Healthplex Expo 2012 in forefront of its kind. The total floor space reached 6,000 square meters, divided into exhibition areas of health food, natural medicine, health care, rehabilitation and care products and international and therapy,covering nutritional and health food, nutritional supplements, traditional Chinese medicine health products, high-grade tonic, massage equipment, home rehabilitation and care products, cosmetics, and health therapies and so on.
The Healthplex’s most prominent feature was dedicated to building platform for outstanding products and outstanding enterprises. The Healthplex was not only interested well-known domestic pharmaceutical enterprises such as Tong Ren Tang, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group, Tasly Group Co. Ltd, Northeast Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd, Jiangsu Jiangshan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, but also high-quality international trade companies such as China Medical Health Care Products Import and Export Co. , Ltd., Shanghai Medical Health Care Products Import and Export Co. , Ltd, Zhejiang Medical Health Care Products Import and Export Co. , Ltd as well as international exhibitors from over 10 countries and regions. Such arrangement would meet the demands of visitors and consumers through the introduction of superior products and superior enterprises in the Healthplex .
Internationalization is another feature of the Healthplex. CCCMHPIE made great efforts to attract superior overseas exhibitors to the Healthplex through various ways.
Giving consideration to both domestic and international trade, aiming to promote both domestic and international markets, is a notable feature of the Healthplex that makes it distinguish from other theme exhibitions.
Except B2B, Healthplex Expo 2012 added B2C. By opening directly to the end-consumer, the Expo not only presented the exhibitors accesses to the consumers but also helped the consumers getting to know the outstanding enterprises and their products, and spread scientific concepts of health care.
Health care therapies and on-site experiencing section running through the whole process is another differentiation of the show.
