2012 China-World Medical Summit was held in Shanghai on June 25th. The Summit was co-hosted by CCCMHPIE & European CMP Exhibition Co. Ltd. Combined with the hot issues in the pharmaceutical industry, the theme of the Summit was “Chinese pharmaceutical manufacturing industry in transition and the API export environment”. Nearly 280 people from the government, pharmaceutical companies, research institutions and Medical Association attended the Summit.
The summit was divided into three parts, the response to 2011/62/EU, Export enterprise management and drug safety activities, and the sustainable development of the pharmaceutical industry and transfer of the API area. The speakers made an intensive discussion on the current situation, difficulties and solutions of Chinese APIs industry.
