Symposium on Regulation of Herbal Medicinal Products in EU & Marketing of Health Products in EU Held in Beijing
On May 14, Symposium on Regulation of Herbal Medicinal Products in EU & Marketing of Health Products in EU was held in Beijing. The Symposium was co-hosted by CCCMHPIE and MPA, Sweden. The officials of MPA, GMP and director of “Health Products Alliance” were invited to the meeting and lectured about application procedures for traditional herbal medicinal products in EU, policy requirements in EU market, file preparation for regulation, difference in China new GMP and EU GMP and marketing of health products in EU. More than 40 delegates from 15 Chinese enterprises attended the symposium.
Last year, a business cooperation memorandum was signed between MPA and SFDA. The symposium not only met the Chinese enterprises’ needs, but also deepened the cooperation between China and Sweden on medicinal issues.
