In order to enhance the bilateral cooperation in medicine trade and investment, expand bilateral exchange and interaction between businesses of both sides, the first meeting of China-Denmark medicine liaison group was held in Beijing on Sep. 7.
Vice president of CCCMHPIE Xu Ming and the Principal of Danish embassy in economic affairs Kristensen co-chaired this meeting. 23 representatives from China Pharmaceutical Industry Association, Beijing economic-technological development area, the Danish Embassy in China, China Meheco Corporation, Danish Lyngby company、Danish Otometrics company、Coloplast China attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the trade and investment situation in medical field between China and Denmark, and evaluated the performance of China-Denmark medicine liaison group since it established. The representatives focused on topics of medical product introduction, hi-tech technology transfer, two-way investment and M&A, market access and supervision, corporation of circulation channel.
To ensure the normalization of both sides’ cooperation, the two sides agreed that each side would introduce its important meeting, events, forum, exhibition and training of the year, invite the opposite side to participate or provide supporting. Both sides noted its liaison to take charge daily coordination. Meanwhile, 2nd meeting of the medicine liaison group would be held on the end of August or early September in 2013.
Both sides of China and Denmark agreed that the 1st meeting of China-Denmark medicine liaison group made constructive achievements, fixed the cooperation model and future direction, created favorable conditions for the corporation for China-Denmark in medical field.
